As an account manager, Charity places new business policies and handles general policy maintenance on existing accounts.  Formerly with Anderton Insurance Agency, Charity has 11 years of insurance experience.

Robin is responsible for general account maintenance including policy changes, invoicing, billing inquiries and endorsement processing.   She holds the CIC and ACSR designations and has 9 years of insurance experience.

David joined the firm in 1990.  Now the firm’s president, he is responsible for the successful operation and financial soundness of the agency.  David handles commercial sales and sales management for the company.  He is a CPCU candidate, and a member of several carrier advisory councils.

Victor began his career in his father’s insurance agency and has more than 50 years of insurance experience.  He opened what is now Carey, Richmond & Viking Insurance in 1961.  Victor serves as the trustee of the firm’s 401k and profit-sharing plan, and handles all acquisitions.  Acquisitions since 1961 have included Gula Insurance Agency in New Bedford, Stone Mill Agency in Newport, Cain & Divver Insurance Agency in Pawtucket, and Anderton Insurance Agency in East Providence. 

Jennifer assists account managers and customers with technical and clerical issues including certificate issuance, policy data encoding, and preparation of letters and memos.  She holds the ACSR designation.

Jeff develops and implements the agenda for the commercial insurance department at CRV. He holds the CPCU, CIC, CRM and ALCM designations. Jeff has a strong working knowledge of the insurance industry with more than 20 years of experience with three major insurance carriers.

Pat is responsible for general account maintenance including policy changes, invoicing, billing inquiries and endorsement processing. She has 36 years of insurance experience.

Lynne is the main contact for all claims activities.  She takes first reports of claims and assists throughout the settlement process.  Lynne has 13 years of insurance experience and holds a CISR designation.                          

As an account executive, Lou is responsible for new commercial business development and commercial account relationships.  He has 26 years of experience in commercial insurance sales. 

Karen provides assistance to the account managers with all technical and clerical issues including certificate issuance, policy date encoding, and preparation of letters and memos. 

As an Account Executive, Bryan is responsible for new commercial business development and commercial account relationships.  Bryan has 5 years of insurance sales and consulting experience.

The Human Resources department manages all functions relating to staffing such as employee training and education, retention, and performance evaluation.  Terri also handles benefits management and policy development.  She has 10 years of experience in the human resources field.

Rosie is responsible for general account maintenance including policy changes, invoicing, billing inquiries and endorsement processing.  She has 8 years of insurance experience and holds an ACSR designation.

Carol manages all aspects of the bookkeeping function including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, benefits accounting, and financial reporting.  She has 20 years of experience in the accounting field.

Margie has 25 years of commercial insurance carrier experience in auditing and management processes.  Margie is responsible for general account maintenance which includes coverage knowledge, sustaining client relationships, and coordinating policy changes, invoicing, and billing inquiries.  She holds the AIS and CIPA designations.

Autumn manages the day-to-day operations of the East Providence office, formerly Anderton Insurance Agency.  The two firms merged in 2008.  She is responsible for commercial sales and servicing for new and existing accounts.  Autumn holds the CIC and CISR designations and has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Grace assists account managers and customers with technical and clerical issues including certificate issuance, poilicy date encoding, and preparation of letters and memos.  She holds the ACSR designation.

RoseMarie is responsible for new business development in personal insurance.  She holds the CIC designation and has 21 years of insurance sales and service experience.

Bill owned and operated Stone Mill Agency, founded by Bill's father in 1959.  Stone Mill agency merged with Carey, Richmond & Viking in 2000.  Bill is responsible for commercial sales of new and existing accounts.  He has 36 years of experience in the insurance industry.

Susan has more than 27 years of insurance experience including commercial marketing and account management.  As the operations manager, Susan oversees work flow and procedures and manages all information technology issues.  Susan holds an AAI designation.

Irene has 28 years experience in the insurance market.  Her background is in risk management for global and middle-market organizations.  She has earned the CPCU and the AU designations.

Dawn assists the account managers in the Personal Insurance Department.  Her responsibilities include clerical support and carrier download processing.   Dawn has 3 years of insurance experience.

Stephanie is responsible for general account maintenance including policy changes, invoicing, billing inquiries and endorsement processing.   She holds the CIC and ACSR designations and has 5 years of insurance experience.

Transitioning from the receptionist for the Middletown office, Megan is now training in the Personal Insurance Department to develop her insurance career.  Her responsibilities include client and clerical support, special projects, and policy processing.

As an account executive, Larry is responsible for new commercial business development and commercial account relationships.  He has extensive experience in professional liability coverages and general commercial insurance sales.  Larry holds a CIC designation.  He is an attorney and has been a member of the RI Bar Association since 1987.

As an Account Executive, Rui is responsible for new commercial and personal insurance accounts.  He has 14 years of experience in professional sales and account development.  Rui speaks fluent Portuguese.

Helen is responsible for general account maintenance including policy changes, invoicing, billing inquiries and endorsement processing.   She has 22 years of insurance experience and holds the CISR designation.  Helen speaks fluent Portuguese.

Phoebe manages the day-to-day operations of the New Bedford office, formerly Gula Insurance Agency.  The two firms merged in 1994.  She is responsible for commercial sales and servicing for new and existing personal insurance accounts.  Phoebe holds a CIC designation and has 23 years of experience in the insurance industry.  She speaks fluent Portuguese.

Jo Ann provides administrative support services in the Middletown office.  She has 15 years of experience in sales support and office management.

Barbara provides administrative support services in the New Bedford office.  She has 16 years of insurance support experience.

Joe manages all personal insurance operations for the agency including carrier relationships and policy marketing.  He oversees branch operations in East Providence and New Bedford.  Joe has a strong working knowledge of the insurance industry and more than 36 years of insurance experience.

Graham has 16 years of experience as a workers compensation and claims adjustor and as a subrogration manager for most lines of insurance.  He is a licensed claims adjustor, an arbitrator with ICA, and a member of NASP.  Graham holds the AIC and AIS designations.

Dianne has more than 32 years of insurance experience.  She is responsible for general account maintenance including policy changes, invoicing, billing inquiries and endorsement processing.  Dianne holds the CISR designation. 

June has more than 22 years of insurance experience including insurance marketing and management.  She is responsible for general account maintenance including policy changes, invoicing, billing inquiries and endorsement processing.  June holds the AAI, AIS, and the AU designations.

Leslie is responsible for general account maintenance including policy changes, invoicing, billing inquiries and endorsement processing.   She has 21 years of insurance service experience.
